Mission briefing
This browser game turns a reusable rocket mission into three quick decisions. Launch the stack, prepare at stage separation, then manage horizontal drift and the final landing burn to recover the booster.
PHASE 01
Press Launch Rocket to ignite the engines. Use the left and right controls to keep the vehicle stable as it climbs toward the separation window.
PHASE 02
Separate inside the highlighted altitude window. Accurate timing earns more points; waiting too long triggers a late automatic separation and a score penalty.
PHASE 03
Manage descent speed, horizontal drift, and the final landing burn to touch down inside the target zone.
Under the controls
The simulator is designed around cause and effect that a player can read on screen. The camera follows the vehicle, the trail records its recent path, telemetry reports the current state, and the impact marker turns momentum into a visual landing forecast.
MODEL 01
The rocket responds to thrust, gravity, angle, horizontal momentum, and remaining fuel. Those relationships create a consistent skill challenge, but the units and forces are tuned for a short browser session rather than engineering accuracy.
MODEL 02
During recovery, the circular impact marker estimates where the booster would arrive if its current motion continued. Steering changes horizontal speed, so the marker moves before the vehicle does. Players can use that delay to plan corrections instead of chasing the ship at the last second.
MODEL 03
A broad guidance assist shapes the return arc and a low-altitude flare prevents the first attempt from becoming an instant crash. The player still controls deck alignment, sideways speed, vehicle angle, and whether enough fuel remains for the final burn.
Mission scoring
Your score combines remaining fuel, landing accuracy, horizontal stability, and touchdown speed. A safe landing matters more than a dramatic one. Crashing outside the target zone ends the mission, while a precise center landing earns the largest multiplier.
A valid recovery must touch the deck at no more than 32 m/s vertically, 24 m/s horizontally, and 17 degrees of tilt. The final score then rewards separation timing, fuel remaining, distance from the deck centerline, touchdown softness, and sideways stability. The best score is stored only in this browser.
Browser first
This game is available for instant play on mobile and desktop. It does not require a SpaceX game APK, PC installer, login, or payment. The launch-and-land challenge works directly in a modern browser and is designed for quick replays.
Keyboard players can use A and D to steer, S to separate, Space for the recovery burn, and Enter to launch. The same actions are available as labeled touch controls, so the mission does not depend on hover states or a physical keyboard.
Failure report
A failed mission is classified by the condition that ended it: missing the deck, arriving too fast, carrying too much sideways speed, or landing at an unsafe angle. The mission report shows the measured value and the relevant limit. This makes the next attempt a specific correction rather than a blind restart.
DESIGN LIMIT
The game does not model orbital mechanics, atmospheric density, structural loads, engine-out scenarios, communications delay, or real launch procedures. It is a compact control game inspired by reusable-rocketry concepts, not a training product or flight prediction tool.
Rocket game FAQ
How the simulator works, where it runs, and what this independent fan-made project is not.
This is an independent browser game where players launch a Starship-inspired rocket, separate its stages, and attempt to land a reusable booster safely.
Yes. The game is free to play online in a modern web browser without an account, payment, installer, or app download.
Separate inside the highlighted altitude window, then use the left and right controls to move the predicted impact marker onto the recovery ship. Hold the landing burn to keep vertical speed at or below 32 m/s, horizontal speed at or below 24 m/s, and tilt under 17 degrees at touchdown.
No. It is a lightweight entertainment simulator inspired by reusable rocket missions, not an engineering tool or an accurate SpaceX flight simulator.
No. The game runs directly in modern browsers. There is no APK, installer, or required software download.
Yes. The game includes touch controls for phones and tablets plus keyboard controls for laptops and desktop browsers.
